A bronze monument made at the end of the 30s, placed inside the park of the United Nations office in Geneva and where an heavy restoration was requested. Lanaro revoved all bronze statues, removing the old internal steel support structure, completely rusted, producing it in stainless steel. All the figures and external arches were then regenerated and golded, getting all the aesthetic back to its origins.
Furthermore, thanks to the new technologies available, the original rotation of the sphere has been restored, never operative and abandoned after the coming of the Second World War. The new mechanism, equipped with a motor placed inside the lower rotation junction and that, thanks to a micro reducer, to generate a slow rotation. Lanaro also created the lighting system around the sphere, a system of photochromic LED and strip lamps, controlled by programmable software placed near the sphere.
