Lanaro designed, manufactured and installed also the Amiri Canopy, another type of movable glass facade able to be pushed out 8 meters from the main facade.
This retractable façade, made to create a private special entrance on the hotel, is guided by four telescopic arms and by three carriages underground, all controlled by a specific electronic system.
On top of this opening a rectractable glass ceiling has been installed too, covering those 8 meters opening. Lanaro was in charge also of the design and the installation of the bracketing system to the main building, as well as the gasketing system, between the movable and the fixed facade elements.
