As of today, might be named as the world's largest retractable roof complex, 228 independent bays for a total of 62.000 sq.m. of covered area, takes shape at the Dubai Expo site which will be held
in the Emirati metropolis starting from October 2020.
The Lanaro's involvement in this project, starting from the preliminary design stage, enabled the project team to develop, fabricate and install a reliable and efficient retractable system, suitable for extreme environmental and climatic conditions where sand and saline mist test hard the worth of a project in al its aspects.
More than 5.000 trolleis, 18.000 sliding wheels, 10.500 meters of custom design and fabricated rails, 456 engines and drives governed by 19 control stand alone electrical switchboard linked to the main control and monitoring room thanks to a network of 64.000 meters of electrical cables, these are only some of the relevant number which gives the picture of this challenging project and its site installation carried out under our own Project Manager and Site Managers full time supervision starting from the advanced design stage till the test and commisiong stage.
